GETTING READY BY THE SEA
The morning began at the Wianno Club, where Perry and her bridesmaids spent the early hours in matching robes as Edilaine Biznha and her team styled hair and makeup. Across town, John and his groomsmen prepared with ease and laughter, before heading to the club for a first look and private vows tucked beneath the hydrangeas.

CEREMONY ON THE LAWN
The ceremony unfolded in the front yard of the property beneath clear skies and a custom-built arbor layered with lush pink and coral blooms designed by Ninety-Two Design Co. Perry walked the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” while guests swayed gently in the Cape breeze. The processional was framed by delicate flamingo décor placed throughout the garden — a subtle motif that added whimsy without sacrificing sophistication.
After a joyful recessional to “Signed, Sealed, Delivered”, guests transitioned to cocktail hour, where William Ference Catering served signature drinks and canapés on the covered porch overlooking the lawn.
COUPLES PORTRAITS AT HOME
Before joining the celebration, the newlyweds took a short walk through the property for portraits. With the tent glowing in the background and the florals still fresh from the ceremony, the setting was soft and personal — the kind of environment only a family home can create. (We can’t leave out the surprise appearance from their cat!)
They wandered through the garden and front steps, laughing between frames, as Meredith Jane captured candid moments that now live as some of the day’s most iconic images. The combination of pink tones, lush greenery, and timeless architecture created a portrait backdrop that felt intimate and effortlessly refined — a perfect reflection of Perry and John’s style.
COCKTAIL HOUR WITH A TWIST
The cocktail experience was as fun as it was chic: a custom escort wall featuring mini Gulden’s mustard jars, hand-calligraphed escort cards, and a backdrop from Boston Backdrops that became a guest favorite photo moment.
Solar-lit flamingos floated playfully in the pool — a cheeky nod to Perry’s personality — while pink blankets in woven baskets offered warmth as the sun dipped low. The balance of luxury and levity captured what Jessica Hennessey Weddings does best: design that makes you smile, but never feels overdone.
DINNER UNDER THE SAILCLOTH TENT
Guests were invited into the Sperry Tent at dusk, where long communal tables in raspberry and Penelope linens from Reverie Social created a soft pink glow under the canopy of string lights. Each table featured delicate florals by Ninety-Two Design Co., paired with candlelight, layered glassware, and personalized menu cards.
Introduced to “We Found Love,” Perry and John shared their first dance to “Lover” by Taylor Swift — a perfect blend of sentiment and style. The night continued with Men in Black Band keeping the dance floor full, a classic James Taylor cake-cutting moment, and a final song — “Into the Mystic” — as guests swayed under the Cape stars.
